GEZE Scandinavia welcomes Thomas Hindhede as new Managing Director
In the Nordic countries as well as the Baltics, the employees of GEZE Scandinavia are daily active in promoting and selling door automatics, door closers and window technology to the building industry.
A strong position for future market activities
Last year, the subsidiary of the German privately owned company celebrated 25 years in the local market, while GEZE GmbH could celebrate 160 years as supplier of innovative products “Made in Germany”. During the past 25 years GEZE Scandinavia has expanded to the 8 countries of today, as well as developed each local market with a high presence of GEZE products in the building industry.

The successful and future-oriented positioning of GEZE is of high priority in the daily work. In addition to a clearly defined future orientation, including new innovative products, high quality and a global market share, the international company is frequently expanding and reorganizing to optimize the market position globally and in local markets.
As of July 1st, 2024, the new Managing Director of GEZE Scandinavia is Mr. Thomas Hindhede. Thomas takes over the main responsibility for the 8 countries in the Nordic region, and continue driving the future growth strategy for all markets. With dedicated employees including the existing Management Team to fulfill the local sales responsibilities, the foundation is set.
In the Nordic region, GEZE has a good position on the market. However, in larger parts of the region, we still have many opportunities and adventures laying ahead of us. Thomas has a background in leadership and business development from several Nordic and international companies. Most recently a 12 year record from Otis Elevator has given thorough knowledge of the building industry. A degree in business from Copenhagen Business School, compliments the strategic mindset, which GEZE Scandinavia will now benefit from.
